Description

This control allows you to add rectangular shapes as graphical elements for to create background frames, group frames etc. The decor can be drawn as an outline, a filled or a combined rectangle. The fill style can either be a solid color, a linear gradient or a radial gradient. Furthermore the rectangle can have rounded corners with an adjustable radius.

Properties

PropertyDescription
NameThe name of the Image.
Position/Size Position and Size of the element in pixels.

Pos x, Pos y, Width, Height (Pos = Position of upper left corner)

Attach
  • Left: If the parent is resized, the control remains attached to left edge, with the specified ratio.
  • Right: If the parent is resized, the control moves relatively to the right edge, with the specified ratio.
  • Top: If the parent is resized, the control remains attached to top edge, with the specified ratio.
  • Bottom: If the parent is resized, the control moves relatively to the bottom edge, with the specified ratio.
  • Left + Right: If the parent is resized, the control is resized horizontally relatively to the left and right edges, with the specified ratio.
  • Top + Bottom: If the parent is resized, the control is resized vertically relatively to the top and bottom edges, with the specified ratio.
Tooltip Text that appears as a tooltip when the mouse hovers over the element.
Fill

Here you can specify if the decor should be filled and how. There are four options:

  • No Fill: The inside of the rectangle remains fully transparent.  This mode is useful for decors that show only an outline.
  • Solid Color: The inside of the rectangle will be filled with a color
  • Linear Gradient: The inside of the rectangle will be filled with a linear gradient. The gradient has a top and a bottom color which refers to the default angle of 0 degree.
  • Radial Gradient: The inside of the rectangle will be filled with a radial gradient
RadiusSpecifies the roundness of the rectangle corners
Line WidthSpecifies the width of the outline
AngleSpecifies the angle of a Linear Gradient fill.
StretchAllows to compress (values < 1.0) and expand (values > 1.0) a linear or radial gradient.
Center X, YSpecifies the center of a radial gradient. Negative values move the center to the left or top, postiv values to the right and bottom.
Line Color
Defines the color of the outline
ColorSpecifies the fill color in Solid fill style
Start Color

Specifies the top fill color in Linear Gradient fill style

End ColorSpecifies the bottom fill color in Linear Gradient fill style.
Inner Color

Specifies the inner fill color in Radial Gradient fill style

Outer Color

Specifies the outer fill color in Radial Gradient fill style
